Greythounds of Texas Inc. (GOT) is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) formed as a 'non-affiliated' supporter of established canine rescue & adoption groups in Texas. Our mission is to assist established canine rescue and adoption groups with medical expenses through our grant process. Our team of professionals are dedicated to the health, welfare and adoption of Greyhounds and other ‘Greythounds’ in Texas.

Two very special dogs that inspired the purpose behind this organization  were Liberty (K'sons Liberty) a retired racer and Foreman (CTW Forewarned) also a retired racer & blood donor. These are our 'heart hounds' lost to cancer much too young. We are dedicated to supporting canine cancer research in their honor and for so many others that have been lost to this heartbreaking disease. With generous supporters like you...we know that a cure will be found!

GOT is also about education. We strive to provide up to date and relevant information on 'wellness' topics for all 'Greythounds'. GOT also sponsors events and programs designed to educate and entertain you about the health and well being of your forever four legged friends.
